I purchased a Westinghouse GFN323N 100A safety switch for use on my welder. However, it is new old stock, and doesn't come with fuses. Can anyone tell me what fuses I will need to get? Thank you

You could use 250V - 70A, 80A, 90A or 100A fuses ( Bussman FRN would work ). You could also use lower amperage fuses, with adapters ( but I wouldn't go that route )

Is that switch listed for use in Canada? I see a UL sticker but no CSA.

Which fuse to use depends on what the fuse is for. There are about 50,000,000 different types.....lol.

Simply put, if the load will not exceed the fuse rating, a fast-acting one will work (type NON is one example) This is the least expensive one but if the load has a high inrush current, it'll blow without a reason.

If the load will exceed the fuse rating for a short time (like a motor starting, for example), then you'll need a dual-element time delay type (like the FRN mentioned above). These fuses are quite a bit more $$$ than the basic fast-acting type but they are designed to ride through a short time high current event.

They will be for welders. I am going to end up with four switches, for the following-
Miller Shopmaster 300 - Transformer
Lincoln V350Pro - Inverter
Lincoln Tig 300/300 - Transformer
Lincoln Idealarc 250 - Transformer

I didn't think of it, I should have called Bussman. But I enjoy the forums anyway.

You'll need the dual element time delay fuses. If you stick the rod with the fast acting type, they'll see it as an overload and blow.
