Seems excessive to spend that much on some wrenches. .? I'm all for quality but my cheap Craftsman do the same thing.

Only people that have not held a 1 5/8" snappy wrench lately say pure blasphemy like that.

I can't see myself paying a 1/4 of that price. I have a set of 14 both metric and sae of the Craftsman Industrial deal that came out years ago, They are polished, and look great, and are US made. Best of all I got all of them for under 100 bucks.

for 669 I'll get a US General 52 box.

That's just my opinion.

If I'm being honest my box end wrenches are the last tools I reach for when working on something. Ratchets 99% off the time.

snap on is good to look at, but i like the way a mac fits my hand. cornwell stuff is pretty similar to the mac too.

That's funny because I gave up on my MACs because I kept bending them and didn't care for the squared edges. I took them home when I got a good deal on my SnapOns.

The MAC man wouldn't warranty the dam things unless they were broken and it hurt like a ***** when they finally would let go after bending them back and forth in my vice to break them per his request.

I can honestly say that I had better luck with my standard Craftsman wrenches.

they may or they may not
what happens if you are working on some big industrial equipment where the bolts are reallt tight and the craftsman wrench breaks and you get hurt in the process.......are they the same then?

I have snapped the box end of a 1'' CM raised panel wrench and ended up twisting the heck out of my ankle and still ended up face in the dirt
