Anyone love their electric mower or leaf blower?

The 20v Dewalt was on sale for $99 last spring, so I bought it for the Tucson house.

I don’t think there is a blade of grass in the county, excluding golf courses, but it does great blowing away what passes for leaves down here, and the small, dry twigs or whatever the birds use for nesting material.

I wouldn’t expect it to make much of a dent in the fall oak and maple debacle at the Michigan house. The gas backpack blower struggles there, unless you make multiple weekly passes, starting when the first leaf drops.

It’s all about managing expectation.

Still not over the novelty of the leaf vac. I got to use Gramma's leaf vac a couple weeks ago, I was wide eyed and giggling the whole time. I tried to explain it to my wife , she just had this look...

I have yet to pull the trigger on a blower but I do love my electric weedwacker. I only use it about 10 mins/week in summer, so it’s a HUGE ease-of-use improvement over 2-stroke.
