Looking to make a rolling stand/rack to put my 77 RD400 on while I restore it...
()
I plan to do a full restore on it, full tear down, wheels off and all, so trying to make something that I could put it on, but yet still roll it out of the way, as the garage is full use in winter, 2 cars coming in and out, and I want to be able to keep my older brother off the back since he claims it's "his garage".. ::rolls eyes::

Anyone have any ideas or know of any cheap premade ones?

I made this out of just what I had around for an old YZ I'm restoring. Think I had $30 in the casters

While your bike's together just make or buy of front chock to hold it. Remove the chock whenever it's not needed.

Made this a long time ago out of an old minivan jack. Couple chunks of wood for a no-mar surface and in this case couple chunks of delrin to clear the cooler lines.

Lookup a motorcycle frame jack. I've got one that I can use under the bike while it's on the lift/dolly. The jacks usually come with half radius pucks to fit the contour of the tubing on the bottom of a frame....

I think I'm going to make a basic 2'x6' base like isgsxr's, just not a top style one, then make some peices that support the frame up on top of that, clamped down or something.
