I did some searching on here and google, but didn't find very much. Looking for some examples for my early Christmas present from the wife
you could build a work bench around it
I've been watching for a fee piece of kitchen counter with back splash for mine. I keep it in open space so I thought the back splash would be nice

Buy a butcher block slab from ikea and make a solid top for it.
I bought a glued up project panel at lowes and installed it on top of my 44" box. I use it all the time, just do not hammer on it much.
here is the perfect topper for that HF44 cabinet

I was going to buy the ikea top for mine but they were out at the time I wanted it.
A friend gave me a piece of shelving that was Formica covered that was almost the right size.
I just trimmed it down and reglued the one Formica edge back on it and it has worked perfect

That's actually really nice. My buddy has a 44" hf box and he was thinking of the side cab. I actually thought of a big butcher block and notching it on the underside where the end/side cab is.
Nice to see someone do my envision!

This looks fantastic, did you just notch the bottom? I really like the stain choice also
