Aluminum oxide dust is VERY abrasive. It is the point of using the stuff. Inside tool is plenty bad. Outside of every tool, cover lens, paint job, aluminum panel, and glass window is pretty damn awful too. Ever grease or oil anything? That really holds in abrasive dust.
I am struggling with the decision between an extra long skinny shop and several separate but smaller and less useful definite purpose buildings.

They look cute but if you really use your tools, they would be a pain to use.
