I now have a 2 post lift in my garage and am trying to determine the best place to mount a drop light so that its nearby when I need it under the vehicle. Sounds like a simple thing, but what have some of you done?

I have outlets (a 20 position strip about 6 ft long) right in front of my lift. I usually plug in my light into there. I've toyed with the idea of an outlet on the lift under the motor, but have not gotten around to doing that.

at work, we have hose reals and light reals mounted directly to the posts. just gotta make sure it won't interfere with the operation of the lift.

A magnetic mount would be another way, or a light with a magnet mount built in like some of the rechargeable flashlights have.

A magnetic mount would be really perfect, would have to be pretty strong one. Will do some searching. Worse case, I can drill and tap a couple small holes above the highest point of operation. Just thought I would get some ideas off this board, so many creative guys on here.
