Koken quality is excellent, never tried those style sockets before

I personally use magnetic sockets in certain situations

No gimmick! I've got a set and they work really well!

I could see how they might struggle to hold larger nuts, but I've used 'em up to 17mm without any problems.

All the Ko Ken stuff seems to be well thought out. Good quality too!

I used them...GREAT, once locked on the nut/bolt it's safe and you need to pull it relative hard to get that fastener of the socket.

Quality of koken is also supreme.

I have some USAG sockets as the ones in the first post, that came as part of a package deal. I haven't used them much but they do work and have been handy on occasions. I believe Koken should be just as good.

Just thought I'd point out that Wiha makes a variety of tools for internal hex bolts like this under the Magic Ring title. You know, in case your wallet didn't hate you enough.
