I have an old Dewalt DC925 with the 18V XRP battery. Weighs in at 6.5 lbs, and the batteries don't last very long now. Kind of long for getting between floor joists. Fell in a lake and after I fished it out, kept working fine (disassembled and blew out water). Great drill, but heavy and bulky.
The DCF887 looks like a fine tool that can replace the DC925 in everything I use it for: drilling, driving, etc. It would also save me a bit of time on small engine disassembly.
Hoping this kit will land around $160 around the time black friday rolls around.
Just looking for opinions besides those posted at retailers. Thanks.
