I have been thinking about getting rid of some Mac 3/8 extensions that I've been less than impressed with (sockets just seem to fit loosely, even worse than my Craftsman). Snap-on is the next contestant, but I thought maybe I should give Williams a shot, especially considering the price.

Anyone here have experience with these extensions? Overall experience with Williams' US offerings? Other make suggestions? I'm wondering now since I saw a recent post by a member here who was apparently unhappy with some Williams pliers.

My problem is with that dealer. I ordered combo stubies from them 7 months ago, from the pic it was clear they were USA models (satin) but what I got was full polish imports

Proto, Armstrong, and Williams are our default standards for our tool crib to keep in stock. If there's any real functional difference between them, I've never noticed such, even with my Matco, Wright, or Snap-On regular extensions. Perhaps using them side by side you might feel some subtle fit differences.

I have been disappointed with Allen and a few Craftsmen extensions though.

Thanks for the input, I'm looking for a replacement for ToolsDelivered since they seem to be in limbo right now or maybe permanently.
Did they take care of the issue?
Was it just a mix-up with the picture?(wrong pic, correct Taiwan "12345" part number)

I don't have any Williams extensions. I will say the the new Kolbalt extensions are pretty nice and don't cost a lot. I like the ones that I have.

I have both the Snap on and the Williams 3/8" extension's
I prefer the Snap on extensions only because they are knurled and the Williams are not..
Just a preference because I tend use the knurled part other than that I can not tell any other difference..
