Anyone purchased from Indo generator?

OK, I am REALLY hoping someone has any experience with them:

They sell generators MUCH less than US retailers.
Problem is - they ship from Indonesia.
I have several emails exchanged with them and they claim 30 day door to door sea freight and full refund if not delivered in 40 days.
Of course, if something is not right, YOU have to return it back to Indonesia for full refund.

Generac I am looking at saves me $2k.

Clearly, there is, though, major concern they are simple fraud.

Anyone? I get it, I am well aware of gloom possibilities, but $2K is $2K.

They, actually, agreed to 50% and full payment after delivery.
though, PayPal might be a better option, as you can file claim through them.

Northern Equipment has that on sale for $ 4800.00 free shipping. Looks like the site you linked has it for $ 3000.00 depending on what shipping could be $ 3150.00 or $ 3650.00

What about warranty. will Generac still cover it.

Who pays return shipping if damaged or faulty. It says it must be returned within 7 days from purchase. If its going to take up to 30 days to get here, wouldn't it take that long to get it back there.

Sounds like a scam. I don't know of any company that would ship a LEGITIMATE Generac product with out getting the full payment up front.

They lied continuously about delivery dates, never received the generator. I did get a refund from PayPal.

I've done some import / export business from China.
No way they can ship a generator (air or sea) at that amount. And you may need an import license to do it (there are some exceptions).

They only accept payment via paypal,which sounds good, except their shipping will take over 30-days which is past the refund / protection window. Indications are that they generate tracking numbers for paypal (which will prevent an automatic refund).

They're hosted by google, but are a "big commerce" site -which is US-based, so the hosting doesn't make sense...

Think about it for a minute. Why would a Generac generator made in the USA be shipped all the way to Indonesia only to shipped back to the USA? Wouldn't a legitimate overseas dealer just have a generator drop shipped from the manufacturer or a distributor in the USA?
