Someone on another forum is asking and I thought I would see if you all had any ideas. I really dig the design.

That 'S' seems likely to be a 'Sprunger' logo.

The Sprunger Co. made a line of light, fairly low-priced woodworking machinery in the 1950's-'80's. For a light duty 'home hobby shop' grade of machinery, their equipment seemed to be of reasonably good quality, at least in the few pieces I've seen.

Sprunger was my first thought too but I cant find anything even close to the two images. Also looks like an "M" after the S on the logo. Incidentally the design on these whispers soviet to me. Looks like their 50s/60s machinery but I could just be imagining that.

I actually had one of the shop master universal power tools for a bit, pretty much worthless lol, but it looked cool.
