Anyone recognize these socket rails??

They look similar to the Matco/Cman plastic rails but appear to have a magnetic bottom? I could be wrong..

Kind of look like my Gearwrench socket rails, tough to see in that small picture though. Mine are red though, but I know they at least come in blue and green.

They are the Snap-On socket rails. I have those rails and I would not recommend them, especially on 1/4" drives. They are spring loaded, when you push down on the piece below the socket the spring pushes up the socket. It seems that the 1/4" stuff does not have enough holding power on the socket and if you just brush the release lever the sockets pop off. They also tend to fall over when you have all the sockets on the rail, especially 1/2" drive or deep sockets.

They have an aluminum base with a channel that allows the socket attachment to move along the rail. They are not magnetic.

You Might Try the MTS Lock A Socket Rails, They are Magnetic and you can swap the posts, to fit any assortment of sockets. They come in red, black, and Matco sells blue colored rails. example, I have alot of 1/2 Rails that I put 1/4 posts on. I Looked at the SO rails, but decided these were nicer.

Hmmm I'll have to take a look. I have a couple of the Matco plastic non locking ones and one of the cman locking style plastic ones. The rest of my stuff other than the 1/4 stuff (which are in MTS holders) are on chrome rails. Which are ok.. but they don't want to "stand" so well on their own in the drawer.

I have the matco lock a socket rails. Blue Point has a tray that uses the same posts also.

With the MTS lock-a-socket do the pegs fit in a standard t-track.
Was wondering if I could buy the pegs and custom my own lengths of track that they ride in....do u think that'd be pretty easy to do, or does the track look too unique?
