Anyone recognize this all-in-one tool-set?

This is definitely on the novelty side of the hobby, but I have a thing for self-contained all-in-one pocket tool-sets, no matter how cheesy. Hallowell made them. So did Oxwall. Many others. I picked one up at my flea market this morning that I've never seen before, in the wild or here on GJ or elsewhere on-line. It's not marked.

I'm not sure if the tweezers came with it, as they don't have the notches that the other bits have, and it wouldn't really make functional sense with a T-handle to begin with, but I'm leaving them in there for now. The spike/hole starter, the drill bit, and the flat-head screwdriver - all of them related - are clearly original.

If anyone knows anything about it (mfgr, name, timeframe, etc), please let me know.

Well, I'll be danged. I think you're right, jeff! I still don't understand what the other bits have to do with it (I guess they just started including extras...), but they had me fooled, because this is definitely not a drill bit. Very interesting.

Glad to help. I have a knack for remembering things I see (shapes mostly), and I knew I had seen that before. I collect mid century modern "stuff", so I must have seen this somewhere before.

This etsy site has one that calls it a multi tool. They have tweezers too and a screw starter. So maybe this is more than just a corkscrew.

Thanks for the link. The one on etsy is identical to the one I just found, but it has a drill and a corkscrew. I am missing the drill. This is definitely a corkscrew.

HAHA. So I have a better excuse for screwing a little project up? No thread. I probably only have two or three multitools now that I think about it.

Lugs, I believe these were German, may have been Bundeswehr issue, although not sure what period. Definitely post war; probably 60-70s. I have one with anodized OD green finish. Handy little addition to field or survival kit.

Not mine, but representative of what I have, with what I think is the full assortment of tool bits. My case is near mint OD green. They often show up on eBay.

Hmm. Maybe I'll paint mine! HAHA. Just kidding. I will say, I have never paid too much attention to cork screws at flea markets, but I have noticed that the shape of this case is very common among cork screws.
