Anyone recognize this cross slide vise?

I've been looking for a good drill press multi directional vise for a long time now and this one just came up. I spoke to the guy and he said he can't find any names or numbers on it. He bought it 15years ago and doesn't recall where. Kinda looks Taiwanese to me but at $45 I didn't think the price was bad.

Definitely looks offshore to me also, probably be fine for drill press use long as it has no issues.
