Looks like a small tool and cutter grinder to me. Cant really tell by the crappy pic tho, but it does look strangely familiar.

I requested more pics but no reply yet.
It looks like there are a couple centers mounted there but with a belt?

I'm seeing a hand feed handle, probably for a table feed. I'd be looking at that one in person. I agree tool grinder with some sort of fixtures.

The thing thats throwing me is "4" wide belt" ,most tool grinders I've seen use a wheel so you can dress different profiles on the tool.Unless he means the drive belt is 4" wide.

Still no reply.

Not sure about the "Belt"

I trimmed and blew up the pic and brightened it. There is a "Z" Axis crank, a "Y" crank, and the lever with the red handle appears to be for running the table side to side in the "X" axis. a couple of centers for holding a work piece.

I'm thinking this is for grinding something round into something square, hexagonal or Octagonal? :dunno: Whatever the something is its not long! maybe pistol barrels> or something that needs precision flats on it?

It also Looks like there is a locking lever for the vertical movement on the side that faces us...
