Mystery Logo Trademark on Old Slip Joint Pliers

Anyone ever see this mark before? Plain 6.5" pliers, no grip pattern on handles, no other markings on the tool. Can't seem to find anything on it. Thanks

yes.... that is the Trademark formerly known as the Giant Asterisk

and... notwithstanding it having been trademarked, a number of other manufacturers used very similar markings... enough to turn it into something of a source of humor around here for some, chagrin and agony for others.

I think in your case we can most likely agree that your pliers were made by Peck Stow & Wilcox.
