I've seen quite a few members mentioning vises and was wondering if anyone recognizes the one i have. I've had it almost 17 years. It is only has 4" jaws, but works really well. Originally red in color with a small anvil horn. Has the inscription "C B & F Co", "No.40" on one side and "Lancaster, PA" on the other. Never heard of this company.

If you haven't already, you may want to ask that question on the Vises of Garage Journal thread. There are plenty of vise experts there. It looks like a general purpose vise that was made from the 1930s - 1950s.
