Anyone see Tools like these before?

I'm referring to the six metal pieces there. Picked them up rather cheap last week.

Look to me like bucking bars used for setting solid/aircraft rivets

That would be my guess also. A few looks similiar to ones that I have made at work for various riveting jobs on aircraft lighting.

They aren't some sort of dolly? Couple of them look like they would make good body dollies even if that isn't what they were made for.

Gotta go with bucking bars. Some of those are some rather exotic metals. Tungsten, for one example.

So tell us 67gal, what is your intended purpose? Or did you buy them because the looked cool and were cheap? Not that there is anything wrong with that, at least not here

Mainly b/c they were cheap and I figured I could use them as dollys if I needed to. I paid $20 for all six pieces. The guy that had them bought the contents of a storage unit and they were part of it.

bucking bars used some almost identical to them building aircraft parts. They also make great dollies as well!

Bucking bars, as others said. I have many of the same shapes and sizes.

Looks like they were in use recently. We often use masking tape to cover the edges of the bars to prevent galling a nearby assembly.

Generally best used with the user upside-down and well inside a tailcone or under an instrument panel on a 105F day with no breeze. Only small people need apply. The setter gets to sit on his stool by the air conditioner.
