I've seen a few here in CT. Mostly Chevy/GMC 4500/5500 box trucks. I think they deserve their spot in the professional tool truck world.

I guess I don't understand how they operate, do they basically sell at Amazon prices?
I would be pretty surprised if they were able to go that low due to the extra overhead they have, gotta pay a little for the convenience of having your stuff warrantied out on the spot and them coming to you
As often as GW products can be had at drastically reduced prices online, I just can't see this working out for anyone except the wholesale supplier. But it'd be cool to see some pictures of one if anybody runs across a truck.

For a few weeks there was a demo truck running around the Rockville - Bethesda Maryland area. It didn't sell any tools, but the guys onboard said there where would be trucks out soon.

I saw that truck a few times on Rockville Pike........................thought it was someone with a beat up box truck just trying to get the name out there (and I say this (beat up box truck) when the Gearwrench truck is compared to the nice Freightliner Snap-On truck and the Matco trucks I've seen roaming the area).

I saw a cornwell truck new in town Syracuse. I did see a GW truck parked on a weekend south of Rochester.

I belong to a facebook group and one of the main guys runs a gw truck. He appears to be doing really well. He has flash deals on stuff all of the time.
We had one popping into our store every two weeks for about 3-4 months. No one bought anything although me and one fellow tried to find something. I have ratcheting wrenches and everything else on the truck was basically stuff that felt gimmicky or I already had, or felt no need to spend money on or something I could get from snap on without the hassle of paying in full every time I got something. He didn't require it, but I didn't trust him enough to give him a card number to store. Gotta be in it for a while first.

I have yet to see a Gear Wrench Truck. I travel all over the eastern 2/3 of the country. I'd like to cross paths with one of them, just to pick his brain. Currently I am on good terms with Snappy and Mac drivers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nebraska and Georgia. Each one of them, as well as my local guy, will happily take my money. LOL
We have one that stops in every Monday. He use to be a Matco dealer, then switched to Gearwrench. He is a good guy to deal with, prices are decent, although you can find them cheaper on Amazon. He sells alot of independent stuff. Gearwrench, OTC, Lisle, etc

Was getting a set of tires mounted at Firestone in Mobile Al. about a year ago and a GW truck stopped by while I was there. I Asked one of the guys there about it and he said that most of the techs at the shop liked it and had bought a fair amount of stuff off of it. It was a smaller step van with a professional looking wrap on it. Didn't see the inside though.

We had one for a while the driver has been a tool guy from most of the other truck brands. He is a known scumbag ******* and that is why he has been run off from most shops as a snap on, Matco, and Cornwell driver. I don't think anyone from my shop will buy from him, I also don't believe he will be around much longer.
If you ask your Snap on driver for the Supplemental Catalog that has a large selection of Gearwrench. There are other tools also of interest in that catalog.
My driver is happy to get any items that are requested in the gearwrench line.

Haven't seen any around my part of the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. I would think they'd have a tough time competing with Amazon, and even menards lately here has had a bunch of good deals on gearwrench. On a side note, wasn't there something about gearwrench making larger like 72" tool boxes?
