Anyone seen a on/off toggle switch for a 110v outlet?

I have a fan that I want to hook up above my cnc plasma table. It's on a shelf above the table and not easily reachable. Is there outlet with a toggle switch I can plug it into and mount it to an easier place to reach?
There is actually a few ideas I have that I would like to use this type of setup for. One for the downdraft, one for the overhead fan, one for possibly a water heater. One switch per outlet or per two outlets would be great. However I can't find anything like that. I could probably build something out of a 1900 box but I'm trying not to if I can just simplify and buy it

Not really. Was hoping to find one that had an in/out and a switch?
Or one in and a few out with a switch for each one. Trying to avoid doing any wiring if possible. Would really like a plug n play setup

I'm using this wireless switch, works fine.

That seems sweet. It may work. I can just mount the switches on the toolbox
Z Wave

This is old - but it should still get the job done. $15 and no wiring. Probably the best bang for you buck

Smart Plugs are another good option, but keep in mind that some of them require a wifi connection

Do you know if they have the ground plug on them too? So you just hit the number on the pad and the outlet turns on/off?

How about an Amazon Echo Dot combined with a smart plug or multiple smart plugs?
Then each item would have voice command capability:
"Computer, turn fan on."
Maybe not be the cheapest option, but may fit your needs.
You may have to rename your garage to "The Jetsons Garage." lol

Do you have to have wifi/internet connectivity? Or will the dot work with devices within Bluetooth range?

If you want one with the ground plug - you would be looking at something a little heavier duty

For most of these 'smart devices' to work, you usually need some sort of 'hub' or controller. Some of the more popular current devices are the Samsung Smart Things or as others have pointed out, a simple $30 Amazon Echo Dot can control a number of different devices.

It just depends on how much you want to spend and how involved you want to get. You can replace your actual outlet or just get a device that plugs into the outlet and then you plug your appliance into it

Example outlet

If you want to keep it really simple - something like this controller would work. Yes, you press a button to turn things on and off

Here are some 'appliance modules' (they have a ground plug). So you could control two different things for about $110 and there would be no electrical wiring on your part. Just plug the modules in and add them to the controller. (That controller can also be programmed to turn things on and off at certain times, etc)

Another option is WiFi instead of Z-Wave, but the devices need to access your WiFi and not everyone has it in their shop. These you can control with an Echo or Echo Dot as the hub for example or from an app on your smart phone

If you look on eBay, some of this older stuff is selling dirt cheap

I made a switched power bar out of the old style where they used standard outlets.

But there are new power strips with "power saving" outlets. These have outlets that turn on only when another one of the outlets starts drawing current.

Almost every house we've owned has a normal U ground single outlet controlled by a wall switch next to the door, the hot is powered thru the switch... the old garage in Sacramento had it's ceiling vent fans controlled this way as well... depending on the load, you may need a 20 amp switch, or even higher, but installing one is simple.

If you want a push-pull switch, likely you're thinking industrial or explosion proof... Grainger or even a junk store... or an electrical supply house.
