I had been trying to get ahold of him about buying a complete socket set and didn't hear a word from him, another member on here was able to get ahold of him but he never got back to me on the sockets.

A few weeks after that I was looking at getting some socket extensions and decided to give him another chance. This time he did get back to me a few days later, we went back and forth about what I wanted and I finally called him to give him my payment info. That was this Wendesday so I know that he is around. I did have to resend one of my initial emails because I had not heard from him but he was very nice and helpful when I did talk/email with him.

Hope you can get ahold of him.

Quite a while back, he was talking here, about putting together complete sets, for the Hansen style socket trays.

Never heard anymore about it, though. Did it actually happen and anyone get them?

I actually got an email from him the other day. I try and keep in touch with him just to see how things are going and when he is getting his next order in. Anwyay, it did take me a little while to hear back from him this time. It sounds as if, like many small businesses right now, he has had a rough go so far this year. He plans to have another shipment in from Toptul in the near future. I think maybe he has had a difficult time getting stock of what people want and figuring out how to get his business where he wants it. Its a tough thing to stand up a retail business like that. I strongly recomend that you give him the opportunity though. keep calling, he will get back with you. Although sometimes communication has been slow, his customer service is excellent and once you have an order in with he will communicate very well and ships fast.

I emailed 2-3 months ago to follow up on a ratchet I ordered. He didn't have it in stock at the time the order was placed. I never did hear from him. I resent the email a couple of times. I hope he is doing well. Sounded like he was having some growing pains, but I had no trouble getting the torx sockets he had in stock.
I need to follow up with him. I had wondered what happened to him.

I really hope Mike can get his business up where he wants it. He is really a nice guy to deal with. Even if it takes him a couple of weeks to get back to you, he still has my MAC truck guy beat. I aint seen him in 3 months :bounce:

Sometime in the past year I tried to buy an entire set of sockets from him. Regular and impact, 6 and 12 pt, 1/4-1/2". He responded to my first e-mail just to say that they didn't make the impacts in both 6 & 12 and then I never heard back from him after subsequent e-mails.

If a vendor lets more than one e-mail go unanswered that's a sign to me to stay away.

toptul doesnt have sae impacts. hes all out of sae sockets, most ratchets, impact screwdrivers. the BIG ONE is supposed to be coming in..... sometime?

Same here. I was about to put in a sizeable order with him a while back but his lack of timely response caused me to decide not to do business with him. I just don't want to get burned if his business decides to go south with my money:bounce:

I've never had a tough time getting a hold of him in the past, but I've left at least three messages over the last three weeks and two e-mails and haven't heard back. I'm not upset at Mike, he has been grat to deal with, it's just that he has always gotten back to me right away. Thats why I was wondering if something happend that I was'nt aware of.:headscrat

Who else deals in Wright? I've left him a couple messages, wanted to pick up those little 3/8"-in-a-1/4"-body jobs, and wanted to throw the money his way, but if he's not around any longer...

Sorry - I'm sick and confused. I haven't tried to get ahold of Wren, but TR Tool Supply. The internets is dangerous when light-headed and out of it.

Question holds for TR Tool Supply (but is now off-topic for this thread).

You need to CALL Richard as he doesnt do the Internet Forums anymore, Ive never had a problem getting ahold of him. He is a very honest person and is extremely busy dealing with Government contracts and rest assured if you are interested in some wright goodies he will offer you the best price you can find.

I really dont think thats a concern with him. Hell, he wouldnt even take payment on my first order until I received it.

No responses to me recently, I am trying to complete my original socket order from late 08. He's a stand up guy; just wish he was able to get more product and get it faster. Acouple of months ago he said he was working on it. Are ther any other distributars yet?

Thats really odd, because in the past he'd be on here to post and and start threads to offer new deals and discounts and would look for feedback on his tools and service.

But sometimes life does happen.
