Just came back from my local autoshow, and they had a vendor selling these tiles for concrete. I'm not sure how different they are from VCTs. They are composed of PVC and recycled tires, and some DOP, whatever that is. It is supposed to be resistant to all auto fluids.
They gave me a small sample, and it looks like a kind of rubber material with a surface "veneer" that provides actual appearance of the product. It would cost me about CDN$2000 installed for a 22x20 garage. My big concern is that the surface will eventually get scratched or eroded, which will expose the underlying material. Do VCTs have the same problem? Or are they homogenous throughout? Does this sound like a good deal?
