Has anyone bought one of these and tried them out?

Looking to possibly ordering this from ULine for my shop to use where I have 3 shelves against the wall for 5 of these shelves that slide. Price would be 1770 for 60" wide shelves 18" deep with 138" of track.

Never have used them. but the track end stops look like a big trip hazard to me. Better would be to simply use the version of the shelving units with the installed casters.
Agreed. The tripping hazard was my first thought.

I have a similar setup in both my basement and my shop using racks with casters. Works fine and no tripping.

Believe me...I am an expert at finding tripping hazards. 😧

Tracks would get full of **** and never want to slide right.

I like the idea but I would rather they hang somehow instead of slide on the floor.

You could mount rigid casters on each leg and get pretty much the same result w/o the trip hazard. They look a bit tippy to me though.

Those tracks might be a hazard and also get in the way. I have several sets of shelves like that in my garage and all have wheels on them. It makes them easy to move around and to change configurations. I think I got them at either costco or HD.

sorry but those prices are crazy for both listed. The first one looks like something you'd use in a house eave dead space. I get your desire but i'd be doing with some kind of stock cabinet and stick some wheels on them. Could even do it so they don't show.

The tripping hazard of the tracks wouldn't be an issue if the assembly were placed against a section of wall, but keeping them clean would still be an issue. Wouldn't take much to stop them from rolling. I like the fixed caster wheel option better.

Some used pallet rack and box store shelves and creative thinking could probably duplicate the Levrack system for a lot less than $6k.

I doubt I end up buying any of those options and will most likely end up building me something out of the bolt together shelves I got for free from a parts store and some pallet racking. I need to get a couple more uprights for the bars I already have sitting here.

I bought a TAB sliding shelf system government surplus, it held HR records before they were all digitized. Best $156 I ever spent! The rails are 1x1" hardened steel set in wider aluminum extrusions. IMG_3634.JPEG

Holy ****!!

I used a bunch of cabinets from a doctors office that I got from Habitat Restore to setup my garage.

I didn't see the sliding shelves like those that most doctors offices used to use.

I wonder who snagged them?
