I use Zep Fast 505 degreaser, but I would bet that the floor cleaner has some similarity of formulation, given it's meant for concrete.

You do have to watch out for what you put on bare aluminum parts, and how long it stays on before rinsing. Quite frankly, if it's going on parts under the hood for degreasing, I just stick with the product that Zep recommends for this, and at the dilution they recommend.

According to Jason he's tried them all and is sold on this stuff says it's better at cutting grease than gas or (diesel)? was the other I believe he said and that perked my ears up. May order a couple gallon just to check it out. I have a couple gallons of Zep degreaser not sure of the number, Spray Nine, LA Awesome, and others but I'm just not impressed With any of those to be truthful.

How would you rate it? Size? Price?
For what I use it for, mostly pressure washing, it's fine. It comes in gallons, and, at the time, it was a lot cheaper than Zep or Simple Green.

I'll have to give the 505 a try, next time I run out of blue stuff.

I might take that with a grain of salt.

IMHO, he's got a sense of arrogance about him, his product lines or what he builds. Not saying he doesn't do good work but I do subscribe to his YouTube channel.

I've used this on my kitchen floor that was getting a yellow haze from years of waxing. At the deluted mix recommended it wasn't very impressive. So I tried it straight and it worked much better. I'll have to try it has a degreaser and see how it works. I purchased mine at Menards.

You do have to be careful with degreasers in general. As others have mentioned they often will attack Aluminum but they also will remove paint at full concentration. Simple green and purple power for example.

I accidentally removed the paint from a coolant tank on a horizontal band saw with purple power. It was already compromised from years of coolant sitting on it and some rust, so it didn't matter. But if you care about the paint job keep it in mind.

A lot of VCT ( 1-ft square tiles ) floors have been ruined by using wrong cleaners or in too-high concentrations. Mostly where it seeps into all the joints.

I use Royal Purple or Simple Green diluted in my pressure washer to degrease projects, but I also added a hot water line to my outside
faucet, I can blend some hot water with the cold water and that makes the soap formula much more effective. I do not run all hot water into the pressurewasher just enough to be warm to the touch. Been doing this for over 10 yrs and no ill effects to the pressure washer.

Honestly, the best degreaser that I’ve ever used is the POR-15 Marine Clean. I think they just call it Cleaner Degreaser now, but it’s supposedly the same stuff. It works awesome, effortlessly honestly, for me whenever I’m cleaning up my tools after an oily or greasy job.
