Anyone use Forward Lift, before?

I’m looking to get a 4 post mainly for storage and cleaning. I had my heart set on an Atlas but logistics are a nightmare. A local company offers Forward Lifts, specifically the EFP8.

As I understand it, they’re owned by the same company that produces Rotary and Direct lifts. Both of those brands seem to do well but, I can’t find anything for Forward.

Any insight would be helpful.

I have a forward lift 10k at work and work under it every day I'm not a fan of the cylinder design. But i really can't say anything bad about it as it's been fairly trouble free for about ten years of daily use and frequent max loading. I have a direct lift 8k in my home shop and absolutely love it. It is over ten years old and have had very few issues with it. For the first 5-7 years it was essentially used in a commercial setting being that i did multiple side jobs every night 5-6 nights a week

I have a 4 post EFP9 forward lift (9k lb). I have only had it for 6months. I love it although I do not have experience with other lifts for comparison. I recently just ordered the rrj45 rolling jack and am awaiting it. The sliding jack tray is not a good option imo.

The one issue or gripe I have is that the manual supplied instructs to grease the cables with penetrating oil, upon contacting the company itself they said do not lubricate the cables. After telling them the manual states otherwise AND I already have greased them their response was basically that a manual is generic and not for my model and since I greased them once I would be fine. The manual clearly has my model number printed on it.

I have nothing to add directly to the Op's question, but I bought a used Forward 2 post lift. Made in the USA and ALI certified. I am %100 happy with my lift.

Forward is rotary lift budget brand . Thats what my rep told me he sells a lot of both brands .
