Has anyone used the Lowes Kobalt cabinets? Does anyone have an opinion on these over the Gladiator cabinets?

I have five of the 6 foot tall ones.
2 four foot wide ones and 3 three foot wide ones - very pleased with them, I'm probably going to add 2 more eventually.

The 3 foot is noticeably more sturdy due to the same construction over 25% less span.

after my insulation and drywall is in I'll be hanging them on the wall.
Hope this helps.

I have one of the 48" cabs. It's handy and looks really cool, but a little flimsy. My biggest complaint is the process I had to go through to get two doors that didn't have shipping dents in them. This was 3 years ago or so, but it was absolutely ridiculous. It was a flaw in the way these units were factory packaged, and it resulted in the left door (packaged in the middle of the box) to be creased. We un boxed two or three different units at the two separate Lowes locations in my town. Obviously this wasn't a quick process, and each one was dented the same. Then they "ordered me one directly from the factory in Pittsburgh".....then when it showed up 3 weeks later it was the wrong door (sent the right door when I needed the left). Then three more weeks went by....Lowes called to say my door had arrived, said ready for pick up. When I went to pick it up, they couldn't locate it....and the manager i had been dealing with was on vacation for the next week. Long story short, 3 months later, I finally had an undamaged, fully assembled unit. Most of my garage is outfitted with Kobalt stuff, so I wanted it to match. But if I had to do it all over again, I would probably try something different.

I am trying to decide between these, and gladiator. If I want them, I have an excellent deal on the Gladiator products, but they are the RTA, and I've heard bad stuff about the RTA products.

Prob anything you buy will be RTA....which is always a PITA. But if you get a deal with Gladiator, I'd say go with it. Every time I walk down that isle in Lowes I wonder what life would be like if I would have just picked the Gladiator cab lol
