Anyone use Mayhew Select Screwdrivers?

If the price is right, I would say get them. Mayhew makes some very good quality products. I have a hook and pick set, along with a chisel and punch set, and just recently picked up some large prybars from them. I've used the large prybars at work, and it they last there, they will live forever in the garage

They were the heaviest screwdrivers I have felt I just bought a Williams set, but the Mayhew felt heavier, not sure if that equates to anything They had a striking cap at the end. If I find a few individuals I wouldn't mind having a #2 Phillips. Not really looking to buy yet another set of screwdrivers.

I have the black and red handled set and they are phenomenal. I like them more then my snap on and cornwell sets. I use them professionally and they are very durable . I would also recommend the snap on set too as they are a close second but rather pricey.

Just wanted to clarify that they appear to be made for Mayhew, most everything else in their catalog looks to be made by Mayhew.
In my experience Taiwan manufacturers have pretty well become proficient in metallurgy, unlike the communists on the mainland. Taiwan is also friendly to the western world. I looked at these screwdrivers, but since there are a lot of good ones made in the USA I decided to buy domestic. Personal preference, my choice.

Mayhew's select branded products are usually, if not always, their lower tier offerings. I'm not a fan of the select punches and chisels which is typically what you find in stores. Haven't seen the screwdrivers though.
I didn't know they were made in Taiwan, I probably wouldn't have ordered a set maybe just individual Phillips. The one I felt at the pawnshop seemed pretty stout nice grip as well.

The Williams screwdrivers I have are great. From what I read, they are the same shanks as the Snap On's. I might look at the Mayhew set you guys mentioned if I need another set since they have wrench bolsters, Taiwan tools seem pretty decent as a general replacement for USA made tools like Craftsman.

I've been shopping for a hook and pick set, and these look way above anything else I've run across. They are, however, overkill for my needs and current tool storage situation so I plan on getting a smaller Ullman set to start.

i have almost the entire dominator line and i have the screwdrivers, i bought the mayhew to beat on and a wera set for driving but i find myself reaching for the mayhews more. and i have beaten on the flatheads quite a bit with no wear whatsoever. good buy imo
