Anyone use Milwaukee yard tools?

I see they have a new blower, weed trimmer, and hedge clipper out. Has anyone used these tools yet? Currently been using a black and decker 40V system. Leaf blower works, but not on wet leaves or on the grass. I mainly use it for blowing the grass clippings off the sidewalk and dry leaves on the driveway.

I am happy with the string trimmer, but you are forced to use their .4" string and cartridges. Looks like Milwaukee will accept .8/.9 string which is a benefit.

I don't have the Hedge trimmer.

We have all Milwaukee at work, with extra batteries all over the place so it's a thought to make the move. But not if the products are comparable. Any experience with these tools yet?

I have the blower. It works well, but definitely needs the 9.0 battery for any extended work. My biggest criticism with the unit is the size of the outlet. It moves a ton of air, but at a slower speed and with less "punch" because it is not very focused. I haven't tried it much with wet leaves yet so I can't say how it would perform with that. It definitely would've been nice if Milwaukee had included some accessory nozzles with it. I might try to rig something up to focus the air more.

I am invested in the Milwaukee tool line and I've heard good things about the string trimmer, but I am tempted to go for the Ego Power Head system even though it would mean needing to invest in another battery system. Being able to have one power head for trimming, edging and a pole saw is a big plus. I have just enough property and trees to justify purchasing these units, but I don't go through very much mixed gas in a year, so it will be nice to not have to deal with two stroke anymore.

You're late to the party. Tons of discussion about these here, they've been out for awhile.

String trimmer - great
Hedge trimmer - great
Blower - meh, so-so

A search would net you a lot. You may have to use google, eg {search term} site:garagejournal.com

Blower does fine for my yard. Since I cut down about 7 or 8 Hickory trees, the yard is much cleaner. I was blowing wet leaves last weekend, it takes some work as mentioned above. I too wish there was some sort of nozzle to focus the air flow.
I picked mine up on dbay for $130, then someone posted a HD photo with a $30 clearance tag. Also bought the 9.0 battery for it.

I have the hedge trimmer and leaf blower. The hedge trimmer has one flaw - it's heavy, otherwise is great. The leaf blower is not really strong enough for wet leaves on dense grass. But for cleaning off your patio or driveway, it's fantastic. It takes 2 seconds to take it out, 2 seconds to put it away. So now I blow the grass clippings off my driveway and patio every time I mow.

I have all the Milwaukee OPE and this is pretty accurate. The string trimmer and hedge trimmer are great while the blower is meh. It's great for blowing grass trimmings off concrete but not so great for anything else. I have resigned myself to still using a gas blower that also doubles as a vac.

Best string trimmer on the market. Just go order one right now.

You'll thank me later.
