I was thinking about a 4post movable lift but the good ones are like 5k...and for doing oil changes and ****** fluids that probably overkill

I could do it with Quick Jack and also do tire rotations etc

Yep, I got the 5000lb version. Raise the car, lock the lift and because I'm paranoid, place jack stands just in case. If I pull a wheel, it also goes under the frame.

Store it under my work bench on a pair of mechanics creeper frames.

I personally never go under the car with that jack.

with stuff you mentioned, save money and buy taller life jack with stands.

Just seems easier to use a floor jack and a set of jack stands

It depends on what you're doing. You gotta have a pretty big floor jack and 4 tall jack stands if you want to raise all 4 wheels of the car to 21". It also seems a whole lot safer on the Quickjack. You're gonna raise one end of the car 20"+ up and put it on jack stands on a massive tilt then go do the other side causing it to shift? I'd rather just push a button and see the whole car raise.

JMO. I bought a set of 7000's a few months ago when Home Depot had a special buy. They work ok. Takes a bit longer to get them setup compared to rolling a floor jack underneath. I also have 5 floor jacks. I have a set of magnetic pinch weld adapters on my daughters fusion which was on a set of the included rubber blocks. The rubber blocks has to be used because the pinch weld adapters do not hang below the rocker moldings. The right side rubber adapters kind of rolled while rotating the tires and bowed the rockier panel a bit when it contacted the jack. Probably my setup and the garage floor has a slight bow. Honestly they are a pain in the *** setting up because of the rise before the jack contacts the car.
As the jack lifts the lifting points on the jack move back, so you need to take that into consideration and also when the car goes up , it goes back.If you lift inside a closed garage make sure you are far enough forward for clearance.
They are also heavy, granted I purchased the 7000 series.I purchased the hangers to put them on the wall , but haven't hung them yet. they are heavy bastards, and im not too sure i want to keep lifting them up vertically for storage. The wheels that are on one end do not swivel, so lifting them on one end and shoving them around are not quite as easy as it looks. That also comes into play when setting them under the rockers. They have to be scooted and again its a lot of weight.
The other issue is the hoses. If your just lifting up for a quick maintenance, i wouldn't pop them off, so they get in the way.
Its a lot of setup basically, and unless your wanting all four off the ground a set of stands and floor jack would be quicker.I have a bad back and thought these would help, but the weight of them *****.
A 2 or 4 post would beats the hell out of these. I have both also,so maybe i am spoiled now, but they are at my other shop and I got these for a quick oil change and rotation in my for my 8ft garage.
I'm still torn on the purchase, especially when i go out in the garage and see them in the way when not being used. Its like my motorcycle table. Its great when the bike is up and on it, but its a big piece of furniture when its not.

I generally do the tire thing too or have a jack positioned somewhere as a backup. I haven't used jack stands yet - once it's in the locks and nothing hydraulic is involved I feel pretty good. But... I'll probably go with a couple jacks if I'm having to put some grump on something.

Store it under my work bench on a pair of mechanics creeper frames.

Creeper frames are a good idea. I thought about using a couple pairs of HF moving dollies, but I just push them under the car - it isn't so low that anything fouls.

Other than I have trust issues about the up/down that I need to get over (my first one had a defective bleeder valve which made the platforms go down unevenly which got a bit exciting with my Mini on there... The second one was a new design that is manually open/closed and I didn't know it, so it got a bit flexed the first time the car went up). Since I figured it all out last summer I've been a bit crazed and literally got my first really clear weekend. And it was great. Easy, fast, more repeatable than jacks/stands.

Contrast that with an error on my part this weekend leading to my Pittsburgh jack stuffing itself in the undercarriage while just getting the front wheels of my wife's Odyssey up in the driveway for an oil change... Yeah - I'll take the QuickJack every single time.
