I'm curious if anyone owns this set or something similar. It's the Irwin tools #11135 Screw Extractor and Drill Bit Set, 35-Piece.

I've been coming across a lot of stripped Phillips screws at work. It's a real pain trying to get them out with a pair of vise-grips since most of the screw heads are a round dome shape. Would this be a decent set for extracting screws, or is there anything else someone can recommend?

ive used it. the long extractors are traditional "ez out" and will leave you cursing if you dont know how to use them.

you arent going to extract many screws until you can grind them flat for drilling.

i dont have screws to extract, so not as experienced on the small stuff.

you might try the alden grabits.
