I use a sunex with a top lid and only one full width drawer, but the same cart overall. Its kinda junky, I mean dont expect supersmooth action and stuff, but it gets the job done, no doubt. With the single full width drawer, I noticed that it is wobbly from left to right, so you need to pull it straight out. As far as weight, I have loaded this cart up with tons of air tools and parts and it rolls around fine, so the weight capacity isnt an issue, just the cheap drawer. The pull bar across the front actually fell off once, because the sheetmetal screws backed out. A little locktite fixed that.

For the money they are not BAD, but dont expect amazing quality either, its still a cheap cart. Since this is made in china I presume, maybe check out the torin branded ones at pep-boys as well.

Thanks kartracer, thats exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I guess I will just save up some more for one of the big brands. There seem to be some decent deals on ebay from time to time, but people usually wont ship something that big.

I just bought the Sunex 5 drawer from Tooltopia.com. As far as service from ToolTopia, they're awesome and the prices aren't that bad either.

Now, for the cart. Drawer pulls are kind of cheesey. There's no lid prop or gas assist to keep the top open. The two narrower drawers don't lock but the rest do.

But, the main frame is really decent, the casters are top notch, the drawers are ball bearing and seem to work smooth enough. Over all I'm pleased and feel that the cart is well worth the $295.00 I paid for it.
I don't think that it would stand up to pro use in a for profit shop day in and day out. Sunex seems to lean that way in their advertising.

For the hobbyist, don't hesitate. The free shipping is a BIG enticement!

I also have an independent tool guy here that sells SK, KD, KStar, Sunex, VIM etc...etc.... He warrants this stuff. He'll stand behind the kart for a year parts and labor. That's just as good as what you get from the trucks.

Know exactly where you're talking about. I'm actually in Blythewood. I know ALOT of folks that drive from O'burg to Cola everyday. Glad I'm not one of them.

It's not too bad of a drive from where I'm at. I'm about 30 minutes from downtown lexington and about 25 min. from downtown columbia. I'm actually going to be working in blythwood next week. There is a road right across the new electric company building on the blythwood exit. Muller or Mueller rd. i think it is. I have do do a house a few miles down that rd. I install hardwood floors. We do a lot of work out that way, expecially in Lake Carolina.
