They had these at Performance Racing. In the booth, the lift had a NASCAR car on its side with booth wheels free to work on.
Seems like a cool idea, since I don't have room in my main garage for a real lift. Most of what I do is maintenance and light repair of my own cars. If I could lift the front end to get under the engine, lift one side to work on brakes, or lift the rear to get at the diff, I'd be happy. Lifting by a wheel does little for me, since usually I want to pull the tire, but according to the people at the show, you can lift off of the frame - side, front, or rear.
Does anyone have experience with these?
