Anyone used insulation blankets after pole barn was constructed?

Has anyone here used the pole barn insulation blankets as their main insulation? Im talking about the blankets with vinyl backing? I was wondering if there was a way to install these after building is up? Usually they are "sandwiched" between the wood frame and metal siding? Like many, at the time of build I just couldnt afford the insulation. Im looking to insulate now in preperation for winter. Any ideas?

Morton installs the insulation blankets after building is up. They use horizontal 2x4's to hold the blankets and vapor barrier in place. They also place vertical air dams between the horizontal runs to minimize air movement in the 1.5 inch space between the vapor barrier and wall board.
