Working on my compressor build, & of course there are setbacks. Two trips to the stores for fittings and still lacking a couple. Anyway, the pressure switch I was going to use won't handle a 3 HP motor. No problem says I, I have a bunch of motor starters. Yeah, right. All of them have 120 volt coils, and of course only 240 at the compressor. So off to find a starter or a new pressure switch. Ran across the Lefoo 26 amp switch, selling on Amazon and Ebay for anywhere from $15 to $20. Looked at them and a number of others, and most listed the current rating, none of them listed a HP rating, and a few didn't list either.

Not sure if the Lefoo is any good quality wise, but at that price I think I'll give it a shot. If it works out, will save having to use a motor starter.

My Saylor Beall 707 has a Lefoo pressure switch. I don't know how old it is but it works ok. I do use it to control the magnetic starter instead of passing full motor current through it.
