Anyone using a scissor lift? Advice needed

I'm looking to maybe get a mid rise scissor lift. The various mid scissor lifts I'm seeing have a lifting platform length of less than 60". The 3 of the 4 vehicles I would be using this on (unibody) have pinch weld jacking points wider than 60". Are folks just centering these in-between the jacking points to lift? Ive been scouring the internet for a couple of days and AFAIK I'm the only one with this question. I dunno, maybe I'm overthinking it. Haha.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I have one like that, different brand, same lift. The end ramps that are hanging down can be lifted up and locked level with the platforms and used to extend the platform.

I have one of the old Snap On/Wheeltronics mid rise platform lifts. Different layout than the one you picture although I considered buying the Atlas Quickbay version of that lift.
I’m pretty sure that there are more than one approved location for lifting the unibody cars I’ve worked on. Not that you can lift from anywhere you want but more than just the location indicated for the factory jack.

On a platform you can basically lift anywhere on the pinch weld because the load will go straight up. The reinforced areas are good for a single-point side-loded lift like a tire jack.

I had that style when I was teaching auto back in the day. For normal frame vehicles we laid some square tubing pieces beween the platforms.

I currently have one of these that I prefer to that style.

Mine is a drive on, air bag lift. I use a separate air bag jack on top of it to get wheels up for brake work etc.
It’s a Herkules . I got it used for really cheap. The last time I checked, they are over $10,000 new.
