Anyone using a wireless remote control thermostat?

I'm in the finishing stages of my 2 car detached garage, and ideally I'd like to have the gas furnace remote controlled so that I don't have to walk my lazy **** out to turn up the furnace on cold winter days.:D I want to be able to turn on the furnace and/or crank up the heat from inside the house before I venture outside. A programmable thermostat is not what I want, since it will only repeat a set programming cycle.

I've found these by Venstar that have a receiver and wireless remote, which I think will do what I want.

Anyone else running this type of system, or have any other recommendations for thermostats?

I had another suggestion on another board I frequent.

Install a wireless switch in the house, which triggers the heater. It doesn't let me vary the garage temp. from the house, but it offers a simple solution. No need to run any wiring for the extra switch.

Here's a website for wireless switches and receivers/plugs - http://www.lightningswitch.com/
