I have used them when setting up a warehouse at work. They are pretty good for small and medium parts if you have a lot to store. They do take up a lot of floor space though.

As an alternative to cabinets, you can buy the louvered panels to wall mount. I am using that

Thats what my bench looks like Doug. Plastic bins and covered in parts! lol Trying to simplify things and make them easier to get plus more storage.

I found this, it's built on a steel A frame with bins on both sides and has casters. The thing I like the best is that when closed the bins tops are covered so stuff doesn't get dirty over time. Also, the way the bins pivot when loaded they want to close again....

floor space is a precious commodity in my garage. I had looked into those, but I didnt like the price. I found a few used filing cabinets with 6 and 8" deep drawers. I bought a mixture of electrical boxes (single gang, double gang, etc..) and used those for my smaller hardware. I managed to pickup 500 peanut butter jars (rejects) for a penny a piece.

I laid an old countertop across my filing cabinets and now have a great workbench with all of my hardware organized in the drawers below. I think I have $200 into it
