I am going to build some heavy duty steel cabinets for the garage to store some tools and equipment in, dimensions will be roughly 6' tall 2' deep and 4' wide. Will a goldenrod work ok to keep moisture out of something that size? Thanks!

It will, depending on how sealed the door will be. Might need to get a longer one. I believe they have specs for the cubic feet they are rated for.

This, I've got one in the gun safe, (oops, that sank in the boat accident along with everything in it).

If your cabinet is reasonably sealed and your humidity and temperature swings are not too drastic then it should work well for you.

They rate the 36" model for 500 cuft. My cabinets should be around 48 cuft.

I have them in my toolboxes. I plug them in whenever it warms up a large amount in the cold months. It seems to work.

They are often used in small closets on boats and seem to work.
