I'm in the middle of having a post frame shop built and we're still trying to decide on colors. I'm considering gray with burnished slate wainscot. I've used several visualizers but would like to see some actual pictures. Anyone here have one?

Can’t help you out with the grey but I went with the burnished slate for my trim color. Honestly the color swatch looked more grey when I was deciding on what colors I wanted to go with. When it arrived I had to double check that they had sent me the right trim. It looks like a dark brown color. It ended up going well with the red that I chose for my sidewalls but I’m not sure it would look very good up against a grey color.

I put a burnished slate colored metal roof on my last house, definitely looked brown when it was up. I agree with Todd - no sure how well it would pair with gray.

See attached.
These are from various points in the build process.
The garage doors are "Almond" color CHI doors.

I will try and get some more recent pics.

We were nervous about the color scheme but I think it turned out pretty good.
Also the great thing about burnished slate is that its a pretty universal color across different vendors.

I bought a few pieces of J Trim from my local metal shop in burnished slate and it matched perfectly. I also bought the electrical boxes on the outside of the building from Home Depot and they also matched perfectly. They are almost hard to see in the wainscot.
