Anyone with this Penn tool sweeper?

I've been searching off and on but the last time I got a metal splinter from removing the metal shreds from my cheap harbor freight sweeper I gave up on it.
I seen the 30" with release from harbor freight but I wanted a smaller sweeper because of the tight areas I use it in my garage. That's with I liked the mini sweeper from HF.
I saw this one from Penn tool

What do you guys think?
It says about 97lbs of pull and the hf one is supposed to have 50. Yes the cost is half of this one but I prefer higher quality tools but I am not familiar with Penn tool. Sounds familiar though

I've got the larger one and it works great. Heavy and clunky but does its job

I sweep with a broom and use a magnet on a stick for the metal swarf.

No idea what state Kern Co is in and can't comment on the Penn Tool version, but I have this one from Menards:

My observation of Penn Tools is they offer a lot of quality tools and a lot of it is US made. So their prices are not as low as places selling Asain clones.

Got the horrid fright mid sized one and it's ok. We've got bigger and much better ones at work that are way better. Magnet strength is what controls how much clearance you can have and still pick up stuff. Mine will only pick up about 80% of what I run over with it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I saw the mfg number and looked it up. I forgot the brand but I didn't like the reviews I saw for it on Amazon so I gave up on it

the big one at HF is nice, the real small one *****, no way to knock the metal off the magnet

Yeah its ***** getting metal splinters. I removed the wheels from the one I have and it picks up everything. But it's still a PITA to remove everything

We use a shop vac to remove stuff on the ones at work. Takes a little bit of a technique, but works well.

I also want a smaller (20"??) model due to my cluttered garage with a strong magnet to use in gravel areas occasionally.

Just a thought for anyone without a release handle, nothing I tried here but maybe add a layer of blue painters tape across the bottom before you start then pull the tape off over a can to catch all your treasures at jobs end may stop those splinters? I doubt a single layer of tape effects the magnet strength any, may be worth a try?

Fyi- Some of these advertise wheels that adjust up/down for rough vs smooth areas. Have a nut/slot just behind the wheels you loosen for adjustment if its there.
