Have you seen the deutsch terminal tool kit snap on and matco puts out?

The only place I've seen metal removal tools similar to the ones you posted are for sure seal connectors on cat equipment, pretty sure they dont work for deutsch connectors though.

Bump for this also.. I have the full set of plastic ones but would prefer metal if anyone can find them. I use Deutsch connectors all over my race cars..

I don't believe they make metal ones for Deutsch connectors. Many metal ones for OEM style connectors, and you can find metal DB9 extractors but no metal extractors for Deutsch. Perhaps you can find metals ones that fit? The plastic ones are no fun when a corner breaks off and remains in the hole.... but it kinda forces you to be careful and use the correct technique.

The far side of crazy.. but sometimes Australia
I have 3 tools that take care of 99% of the connectors I encounter.
I have an Amphenol Octagon (8 sided ally plate with a different extractor on each face), a Snap on thing that has a tube with a groove up its length one end and a hook shape thing the other, and the Aircraft Spruce sealed connector tool.
Duetsch pins are similar to some Amphenol and Cannon stuff, try having a look there.

I use a set from thexton I bought from my snap on dealer. They are metal and work great. part # thx588. I use them on jlg sizzor lifts. We use to have the plastic ones that came with the repair kit, but they kinda **** if use them often.

Get in touch with Ladd Inc. in Ohio, they are the major distributor of Deutsch connectors in the US.

There's a couple of pages of pin removal tools on the website. You may also be able to buy these through Digikey.

Those look like they will work. Sometimes its hard to get the tool inserted behind the wire because we have some 70 and 40 pin connectors and there are alot of wires around each other.
