Anything look wrong with these sockets?

I was thinking of buying these used snap on sockets online, and I have the following pics. Do the drive ends look ok to you guys? The price seems almost too good, but my amateur eyes could not find anything wrong.

they appear to be well used, what kind of money? I assume they are snap on...I would expect 12-30 dollar depending on how well seller listed them

Two, maybe three of them look like they have been used on an impact, that doesn't affect useability unless they are cracked.

Be aware...... impacted chrome sockets have lost any warranty if they split

Some of my shallow 3/8" Snap-on sockets have been used on an impact. I bought them second-hand off eBay and they've held up just fine through 2 years of hard use so far, not a single problem.

I wouldn't pay as much for those as i would for a set where none have been used on an impact, but they should be fine.

So you're saying you almost dropped $60 on 11 used sockets with half of them being impacted?!!? :shocking:

Why do you think I "asked the experts" first . . . . I was certainly considering it compared to $100 for a "new" set.

You think you can find me a better set of Snap On mertric sockets for $60? If so PLEASE DO! I'll have a beer in your honour!:bounce:

You would pay 60.00 for 11 well used sockets and not 100.00 for a new set.:wtf:

I have a slightly worn bridge in San Francisco that I can sell you.

Well, I did not think they were that badly worn at first glance which is why I was CONSIDERING them over a new set. Not anymore after talking to you guys.

Where the heck does everyone find these "great deals"? :bounce: this was the best one I could find . . .

you just have to keep your eyes out, I bought a near complete set of 3/8 deep snap ons right here on GJ 9-19(missing a couple) for 25 shipped(us currency)

like merk said, i was figuring 1 buck each for starting out... but also know that many people will give more.... but 30 bucks would be an absolute max...

I have also bought a used set off my snap on guy... he sells used items for apx 50% of retail.... so, with that in mind, any used snap on item should be worth no more than 50% of new.... atleast that is the way it is in my region..
