Hello, my name is Andrew. I'm 26 and an avid car/tool enthusiast. I'm currently living in an apartment, but luckily I have an attached 2-car garage. It's not huge, but it gets the job done. I'd some day like to have a detached shop, but right now it isn't in the cards.

Shelving and bench when we first moved in. Bench is 3'x8', shelves are 2'x8'.

Bought three 4' neon fixtures for $5 each used. Wires are not tired up in these pictures.

My MGB project and the right half of the garage.

The other half of the garage and "laundry room." You can also see the tire storage above the bench.

Small peg board above the bench.

A few things have changed since these pictures. The white cabinet under the bench I brought forward and built the supports into it. welder is no longer hanging form the ceiling as I got a bigger gas bottle. I recessed a small solvent tank into the bench on one side. Lots of clutter has been removed as well.

But anyways, that's my current situation.

You are very lucky my friend. I have lived in several apartments before I got my first place and the closest i came was a parking garage.

For 26, you've got a good bit of gear in that shop. I like the idea of a recessed solvent tank in the bench, I just may have to 'borrow' that idea. Looks like a nice place to work, I've been realizing with my single car setup that double car garages are actually decent sized shops.

Also, +1 for filling it with a cool project car.
