I got my new snap on t handle ratcheting screwdriver in(stubby red) and the geardriver set I bought(don't want to use there bits, they seem cheap and might strip out a head on a screw), but was curious where to buy apex bits or apex impact bits. I got about 12 or so from my father who got them in the military(vietnam) and they are great never broke or had a problem and wanting to get more as I wanted a few sets and spares in case I needed them. I looked at the web but never really found a place with prices and lots of variety and was curious where other people have gotten them from? Thanks.

I get my Apex bits from Gordon's Industrial, downtown Fresno. Do you have industrial supply houses in Phoenix? I'm pretty sure you do. On a scale of 1-10 in quality, they're a 10.

Apex Catalog PDF:

http://www.cooperpowertools.com/brands/fastening/index.cfm

Go to superpages.com and Enter Search:
.......................................................Industrial Supply
.......................................................Phoenix AZ

You've got a HUGE selection of supply houses in Phoenix.

Merkava is the hook up, I am still looking at what bits I want, but I am going to buy some from someone or online. Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time, also as a note is it just me or are the snap on prices going up? I looked up some ratchets and it appears that some of them have gone up, but it could be in my head, hahaha. Thanks again Merkava....

I usually buy the GearWrench sets, but don't use the bits... until recently when they were all that I have for a particular job. They really aren't that bad! Granted, I would rather use Snap On/Apex bits. But in reality, the GearWrench bits get the job done too!

I had never used Apex bits until I started working for Boeing, where that's all we have. After using them I know why. I'd like to get some for myself as well.

I have a box of these. Maybe 100 left. Return address says Cooper Tools, but the package was probably drop-shipped. I'll find out where we get them. Two different kinds. One ending in 16A I think. (Can't remember off-hand, I was sorting them out earlier today).
