Apex tool group,Danaher, Cooper tool group

I just called gearwrench regarding my torque wrench cause I can't find the model number on it, ANYWAYS. The girl I talked to said that Danaher and Cooper tool group made a joint venture and has now become the Apex tool group and there is no more danaher. anyone have anymore insight on this?

I still call them Danaher anyway. I refuse to call them "Apex Tool Group." In the good ol' days, Apex meant high quality screwdriver bits and had nothing to do with Danaher.
