For ignorant Americans what is a 'HGV' ? I would guess Heavy Ground Vehicle...

Also understand the we may have a totally different system in place to train mechanics and we are mostly expected to own all tools for the job. Are you?

Heavy Goods vehicle IIRC Typically on the road, large trucks and those dang euro vans.

When I started as a diesel apprentice I started with a very not gently used Blue Point cart. As I acquired more tools then it could hold I upgraded to a used larger box. Depending on how much tools you have there's some decent carts that don't cost a fortune and then when you're ready to step up you can keep the cart. Sunex has some decent ones or you can hunt some used ones. You have a budget or idea of what you want?
