Looks like a Chevy color to me. There's some difference in the pictures posted because of different cameras and lighting, but it looks like Tropical Turquoise. Very popular color back in the 50's.

Very nice.

Cha Ching,You are are real close. This was a very popular color from the 50's til the late 60's. My dad even had a 67 wagon painted this color. wished I still had it.

Now we need to find the exact paint code.

The murals don't really bother me as much as the gold trimmed chevron and emblems. I'm actually thinking of taking them off and having them chrome plated.

I think it looks a hell of a lot better than any of the boxes that I've seen with all the NASCAR stuff on them. At least it doesn't look like it belongs in a 12 year old's bedroom where it would match the bedspread and sheets. Did SO do a WWF themed box too? (I'm gonna get flamed for that comment aren't I? Well... Damn. :lol_hitti )

I posted a pic of a '58 with Tropic Turquoise, I don't know if it's the same color used on the '57 cars which was called Tropical Turquoise, they look the same to me. There was also Aegean Turquoise which was close as well.

Nah, I know what you mean. Even worse is the Snappy boxes that look like a street corner in LA or something with all the graffiti on them. Gross.

Nah, either polar green or Indian turquoise. Your choice is too light, I wonder what the colors were called on a non-commercial paint chart.

I am willing to bet that it is NOT Omaha orange or Yukon yellow.

I purchased some color charts on Ebay for 55-57 Chevy and they turned out to be a scan of the original so the colors are not right.

Sorry for the poor pic, scan of a scan...

Looks like Tropical Turquoise is the closest.

Thanks again for all your help with the color code.

Kevin
