Arc Fault breaker question

looking for a few Square D QO115CAFI arc fault breakers. notice some have neutral leads while others don't . what's the reason?

so it seems the pigtail neutral is for retrofits where neutrals can be shared etc. so if I am correct in understanding this, the pigtail-less version would be fine for new circuits where you have control over the neutrals?

I’m far from an expert, but are you looking at some that have pigtails because the pigtails get fastened onto the neutral bus, and some that have a plug on neutral for a panel that is set up for that?

no same part numbers seem to have both SQUARE D Q0115CAFI

Some have a plug on neutral, makes for a cleaner panel, over a bunch of pigtails on the AFCI's considering the fact that the required uses are continuing to expand.

If your panel has the plug-on-neutral feature, you can buy PON breakers without the pigtail. It really cleans things up. But PON is relatively recent. Some panels have a PON bus that covers just part of the supply bus.
