Hey everyone, after finding some really nice builds and loads of helpful info, it's nice to finally join the GJ community!! I think I'm set on what I want for my workspace. My garage isn't terribly big, it's a tight 2 car garage (they call it a 1.5, why? I will never know, it would fit 2), however my 240SX is the only occupant so as far as I'm concerned, the fact that it's a smaller garage doesn't matter lol. What I have in mind is a slight renovation of the garage (more lighting, coated floors, finish and paint the walls, new cabinets, more work space and most importantly...get rid of all of the useless items that I never use. All I'm looking for as an end result is a clean, organized, well-lit and good-looking garage space, got tired of all of the clutter. There's a lot of work to be done and I figure that someone out there might come across the same problems that I might, so I decided to start a thread, even if it helps only 1 person, this thread has done it's job.
Here are a couple of starter pics (sorry for the quality, better ones will be up soon).
As you can see...poorly lit, not very nice to work in when night falls lol. Not saying much, but this is how it looks after it's "organized".
With the car in the garage, not bad, lots of work room on either side (again, when clean) but getting around the front and rear of the car with the door closed is a slight pain. I think that radial saw is going to have to go. It's my dad's machine but says he doesn't really want or need it anymore and wouldn't mind selling it. That should free up some much needed space.
